It is with heartfelt condolences that I am reporting the untimely death of Kaylyn Pryor, the Winner of Mario Make Me a Model. There has been numerous media coverage of  her death, such a sweet spirit and beautiful soul.

Let me take you on the path on how I met Kaylyn Pryor. As part of the media, I have covered Mario Make Me a Model for the past 7 years. So, this year I was assigned to cover the event and it progresses through various stages ultimately leading to the grand prize as 1st place along with all the amenities that comes with it.

During the Spring of 2015 over 500 hopefuls tried out for the Mario Make Me a Model competition, but for the 1st phase only 7 would be chosen. After 7, a social media contest would narrow it down to the top 5 finalists. Well, Katlyn would standout and ultimately won the grand prize on September 25, 2015. I always believed that she would win the modeling competition. It was just something about her, her personality, her willingness to learn and her steadfastness and determination for success.

This blog post will take you through a pictorial collection of images captured by Chicago Imaging Solutions.com and Matt Ferguson (took the image with makeovers). We want the family to know how saddened we were to hear this news…I still can’t believe it.

Though, I only knew her for a short time her presence will never be forgotten.
