Following the conversation, Macy’s customers enjoyed a behind the scenes trailer of Junree’s new show, catch a special performance from Serayah, and had an opportunity to meet them both!
Held at Macy’s State Street, Narcissus Room, 7th Floor- 111 North State Street the frigid temperatures didn’t stop fans from attending this event.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell is an award-winning actress most recently seen on NBC’s critically acclaimed series, “Parenthood,” for its 5th season and concurrently co-starring in HBO’s “True Blood”. Smollett-Bell will star in the already critically-acclaimed WGN series, “Underground,” which is set to debut early 2016. Other select credits include Tyler Perry’s Temptation, “Friday Night Lights” “The Defenders.” Smollett-Bell was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in The Great Debaters and acts as a board member of Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA).
The beautiful and talented newcomer is setting Hollywood a buzz, Serayah is one of the stars of the uber popular and Golden Globe nominated series “Empire” on Fox. Aside from her role on Empire, Serayah starred in one of the hottest music videos and singles of the 2015 Bad Blood, opposite Taylor Swift.
